This is and artwork I made for a school project, my concept being that I was creating characters based on my friends. They don't actualy look like my friends, but they are exactly how they are in my mind. This one is my friend Hannah who is a contact juggler, and that got me to thinking about magic and slight of hand and illusions, and that just made me think of Hannah as an illusionist (that's my thought process and i stuck with it dammit. Hannah liked it (exept for the freckles, which I had to put on to cover the fact that I majorly stuffed the nose). I got my marks back, I did shit. Stupid bastards. Ah well, such is life, I liked them.

This one is done with derwents, with a little blue pen for the outlines. I then cut out around the picture (leaving the white border) and pasted it onto a card that I had coloured with a blue permanent marker (I like the texture that it gave, kinda like leather. You guys probably can't see that on the scan)
